When did you become 'second'?

Being a disciple of Jesus is all about 'dying to yourself, and letting Christ live through you.' Jesus said that "if any man come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." This makes Christ the center-point of every dimension of our life; our faith, our family, our finances, our social life, and our work life. Being a disciple is certainly a journey, but every journey starts with a 'first step'. So when did you become 'second'?
